Pre-Retirement Seminar

Dsigned for employees who are approximately five years away from retirement, this important Pre-Retirement Seminar is presented by Retirement Fund staff and includes detailed information about the city’s retirement benefits, including the DROP program. In addition, participants will learn what they need to know about health insurance after retirement and the importance of Medicare Parts A & B. A representative from the Social Security Administration will also be on hand to present a comprehensive explanation of the two most important laws that may affect City of Fort Worth employees. At some seminars, a representative from TIAA will also be on hand to give a presentation about your 457 Plan and to answer any questions you may have.
