Steve LitkeSteve Litke was appointed to the Board of Trustees of the Fort Worth Employees’ Retirement Fund in 2018. 

He is a partner at the law firm of Bonds Ellis Eppich Schafer Jones LLP, where he practices corporate transactional law, focused in the areas of mergers and acquisitions, commercial contract review and negotiation, entity formation, corporate governance, corporate compliance, intellectual property, employment law and outside corporate/general counsel services.

Previously, Steve served as General Counsel of a technology and education company based in Fort Worth and as a partner in the corporate and securities section of a large Texas-based law firm. He began his career as a Staff Attorney with the Enforcement Division of the Securities and Exchange Commission. In addition to his legal practice, Steve served as an adjunct professor of Mergers and Acquisitions at Texas A&M University School of Law from 2005 to 2007.

Steve graduated from Texas Christian University with a Bachelor of Business Administration in Accounting and went on to earn his Doctor of Jurisprudence from the University of Tulsa College of Law. He is a Life Fellow of both the Texas Bar Foundation and the Tarrant County Bar Foundation, and a member of the Texas Bar Association and the Oklahoma Bar Association. He has been named a Top Attorney by Fort Worth Texas magazine numerous years.

A resident of Fort Worth, Steve has been active in the community for many years. He is a graduate of Leadership Fort Worth, has served as President of TCU’s Neeley School of Business Executive Alumni Board, and has served on the Boards for Trinity Habitat for Humanity and YMCA Camp Carter.

For the Fund, Steve serves on the Investment, Legislative, and Personnel committees.
