Nominations Open Now Through June 4

Nominations are open for the Fort Worth Employees’ Retirement Fund 2023 Board of Trustees election.

For 2023, four seats will be open on the Board of the Fort Worth Employees’ Retirement Fund:

Place 1, representing active police officers;
Place 3, representing active general employees in Group C;
Place 5, representing retired firefighters;
Place 7, representing retired general employees.

To make a nomination, you must be an eligible member of the group represented. Nominees for Places 1 and 3 also must be vested. Nominations can be made online or by signing a traditional paper petition. Members also can nominate themselves. Please note that any nominations from previous years are not applicable, and you will need to make a new nomination for this year.

All online nominations and paper petitions must be received by the Fund by 4 p.m. Friday, June 9. Voting will take place between July 5 and August 9.

Service on the Board is challenging and interesting, and always meaningful. This is a great opportunity to learn more about how the City’s pension fund works and have a hands-on role in helping ensure our continued success.
