Brandon Dyson, a financial consultant with TIAA Financial Solutions, will discuss investing strategy for future and current retirees. TIAA is the provider of the City's 457 retirement plan. Brandon will discuss:- How the 457 can work with your pension to provide retirement income throughout retirement; especially in relation to the recent loss of the COLA and ongoing inflation.
- Tax implications and additional fees that accompany a rollover of the 457 and/or DROP to an outside investment companies.
- The importance of getting advice throughout your retirement.
