Voting for Retirement Fund Board Place 4 Now Closed
Voting for the Place 4 position on the Fort Worth Employees’ Retirement Fund Board of Trustees has closed. Results will be announced at the Board of Trustees meeting Wednesday, Aug. 24.
In order to vote, you must be a member of Group D, which consists of the following departments: Aviation, Code Compliance, Economic Development, IT Solutions, Library, Neighborhood Services, Park & Recreation, Property Management, Public Events, Transportation and Public Works, and non-Civil Service Employees of the Fire Department. The election is being administered by a third-party organization, YesElections. Key facts:
- Ballots have been mailed to every eligible voter within Place 4.
- Eligible members can vote by mail, e-mail or telephone.
- Full voting instructions and biographies of the candidates are included on the ballot.
Eligible voters who have e-mail addresses on file will also receive e-mail notices of the election, which will include links to candidate bios and the e-mail voting site.
Trustees oversee how the Fund’s assets are managed and provide input. They also evaluate the disability retirement pensions and death benefits for members.
