Retirement Seminar Set for March 30
Are you close to retiring? If so, you won’t want to miss our upcoming seminar, “Getting Ready for Retirement,” 8:30 to 10:30 a.m. Thursday, March 30.
The two-hour seminar will consist of two sessions. In the first half, you’ll learn about Medicare and how Social Security applies to City employees. This program will be presented by Tom Clark, a longtime administrator for the Social Security Administration who is now retired. In the second session, Fund staff will cover the benefits available to retiring City employees, including how you can delay retirement through the Deferred Retirement Option Program (DROP).
The seminar will be presented at the Fund office, 3801 Hulen St., Suite 101. The event is free, but seating is limited and advance registration is required. To register or get more information, please call 817-632-8900.
